I don't care for much rap, but there's some enjoyable stuff out there. At the end of the day though, who cares? People like it and it's generally accepted as music. *. No need to reinvent the wheel or anything.
We are not discussing quality, merely categories. There is a difference between prose and poetry even if the lines are blurred sometimes; there is a difference between 3D printing and sculpture even if the lines are blurred sometimes; there is a difference between architecture and architectronics even if the lines are blurred sometimes... "Reinventing the wheel"? It's more like reinventing chess or mahjongg. Can you come back with clips that prove my position mistaken?
