I'm unsure if I really, really liked this soundtrack, but I still did enjoy the Minimalist Folk music soundtrack for the Horror movie Ravenous quite a bit. It gave the film a great atmosphere.

According to wikipedia it was a collaboration between Damon Albarn and Michael Nyman. Here's a link to a song off of the soundtrack.
