im stuck for answers on the remaining three questions, gotta leave it up to someone else to solve them I think...

I don’t think it’s that the questions are too difficult, per se, but I do think that they are rather obscure, and that there are too many variables. For example, Genesis could be the odd band out in question 2 as it’s the only British band whilst the others are all from the USA. That’s not incorrect, if you see what I mean, and if you look on any big music site you’ll find tons of songs/tracks named “Asia”. The answer to that particular question would also not have been incorrect if someone had said Africa – it’s the only place name on the list that isn’t the name of a band, as far as I can tell (I could be wrong).

The idea is good - it just needs to be refined, IMHO.

Well, in the opening post I did explain, at great length I thought, why something like "Only British band" was not a qualifier for odd one out.

Anyway, I think you might be taking it a little too seriously. It was just a bit of fun. there are no prizes. Maybe someone else can try their hand at it.
