"the navigators" was really good.
"hammer to hammer" was good too, just preferred the other one but with Tull, albums flow to maybe it was out of sequence with the other track???

Bit slow off the mark! Graham Nash has a new album coming out in May - the 19th I think. It's titled Now. https://thankfolkforthat.com/new-release...right-now/
There are two tracks available to hear - "A Better Life" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTFVzZ4QXbc
And "Right Now" ... jury's out for now - pardon the pun!

^I tried to listen to the album. I'm not sure if I actually finished it - I guess not much more needs to be said! It was a bit of a chore. Croz, despite all his foibles, managed to deliver some decent work at the tail end of his tenure on this planet. Mr Nash should hit rewind in my view. Not a shining moment for him - time to call it a day. Easier said than done, I'm sure! Nobody wants to do that.

Happened upon a couple of teasers from the soon to be released Everything is Alive album by Darlingside, a band about whom I know precisely diddly, but I listened and liked what I heard, including the occasional banjo. Real instruments, super harmonies and they have that luminosity one is always looking for - (or I am, anyway!). Will have a meander through their catalogue, I think - hoping to find some weight.
Having looked them up, also found this lovely nugget on Wiki - re the origin of the band name ...
"The band's name originates from a songwriting class taken by the band members at Williams College. The course instructor, Bernice Lewis, quoted British writer Sir Arthur Quiller-Couch in teaching the class to “kill your darlings”, wherein a favorite line, lick, or riff (“a darling”) might compromise the balance and arc of the song as a whole. The name “Darlingside” is an homage to “killing one’s darlings." It is spelled with an “s” instead of a “c” (like regicide, fratricide, or homicide) because the band felt the “s” is easier on the eye."

"Darkening Hour"
A live clip (not from the new album) ... just nice to see ...

i believe they have members of Britpop band Suede and Gorillaz in their current lineup so it will be interesting how these musicians adapt to Penguin Cafe (or alternatively) how Penguin Cafe adapt to these changes.
i love that album cover Ruby.
