I have all her albums. Like em. The second one was the most different. It was a lot darker. The third one (most recent?) is a lot more like the first.

THE ANDREWS SISTERS "the best of the andrews sisters" cd,1998.

twenty two track definitive set....
never a big fan of this "girl power" group but some good tracks, my parents generation would love them for sure but they dont really do anything for me...
pretty much like 14 of the tracks with nothing i can really say i love, so that gives an overall rating score of 1.6 meaning i dont like it!
from the album:

rum and coca-cola

thinking the set i got was an el-cheapo one as Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy isnt on it...and i do love that track!!!!

Hatchet, excellent female trio from the WW 2 era. Very good ensemble!!!!...great pop singing! Very popular in their heyday.
The ultimate connection is between a performer and its' audience!

THE BEATLES "yellow submarine" cd,1969.

could have put this i 'soundtracks' threads i guess!
dont know how to write this without being negative...but...its crap!...one of the worst albums in my collection!
Beatles at their worst IMO...six songs and seven instrumentals by producer George Martin...
only one of the songs cuts it as being great and that was released as a single two years previously but Lennon's Hey Bulldog comes close to being a "love***" track but not quite!
abysmal album, worse movie...their time had come to call it quits at this stage but struggled through to release one more great album in Abbey Road and an average one in Let It Be, that said their mark as the most innovative band ever and the greatest songwriting team of Lennon/McCartney or as Macca says "McCartney/Lennon" will always remain even with this piece of crap!

I DISLIKE THIS ALBUM

worst track: all the crappy instrumentals!
best track: all you need is love
