Usually start this thread in December which will consist of a lot of the Best Of lists that start appearing around now.
I will limit them to around 20 per chart or less if that's what they have.
You are welcome to post lists from any sites you may visit.
Or you can leave it up to me. I'm Your Man.
and feel free to post your own list
I will do mine when the year is over

1. Diamond Terrifier - Kill the Self That Wants to Kill Yourself
2. Captain Beefheart - Bat Chain Puller
3. Swans - The Seer
4. El-P - Cancer 4 Cure
5. The Shaolin Afronauts - Quest Under Capricorn
6. Charles Gayle Trio - Streets
7. Colin Stenson & Mats Gustafsson - Stones
8. Tame Impala - Lonerism
9. Rush - Clockwork Angels
10. Death Grips - The Money Store
The Tame Impala album and the Death Grips one were put where they were because I couldn't remember any other albums that I liked this year, and while those certainly are good albums, they're not as great as the ones that precede it. Plus I did plan having Rush at 8 and Tame Impala at 9, but the latter has really grown on me.
EDIT: I just reread the OP, and I saw that these were from sites. Should I find one that I like or is it alright if I leave my top ten?
At any rate, here's the Rate Your Music top charts:
1. Swans - The Seer
2. Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d. city
3. Max Richter - Recomposed by Max Richter: Vivaldi - The Four Seasons (Konzerthaus Kammerorchester Berlin/André de Ridder; Daniel Hope)
4. Godspeed You! Black Emperor - 'Allelujah! Don't Bend! Ascend!
5. Grizzly Bear - Shields
6. Converge - All We Love We Leave Behind
7. Fiona Apple - The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than the Driver of the Screw and Whipping Cords Will Serve You More Than Ropes Will Ever Do
8. Enslaved - RIITIIR
9. Tame Impala - Lonerism
10. Led Zeppelin - Celebration Day
And here's the top ten from Pitchfork:
1. Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d. city
2. Frank Ocean - Channel Orange
3. Godspeed You! Black Emperor - 'Allelujah! Don't Bend! Ascend!
4. Grizzly Bear - Shields
5. Beach House - Bloom
6. Tame Impala - Lonerism

Japandroids - Celebration Rock...I love this album from this Canadian duo ...I reviewed this on MD ! and Cloud Nothings did nothing for me ...that's the only two I listened to in Indie Rock on this list this year !
I reviewed Anathema's Weather Systems and I am pleased it's at the top for prog rock !..one of the best albums I have heard in years !
The Canadian album should have Neil Young and Crazy Horse in there with Psychedelic Pill !!!!!! Glad to see Americana there ,,,, Kathleen Edwards is much better live ! and Whitehorse should be rated much higher IMHO !
The new Rush album didn't do much for me...same old same old !
