You have to be careful with this name--there is a smooth jazz/ urban contemporary singer named Cheryl Barnes; this however is Cheryl D. Barnes and is careful to include the middle initial. This woman looks like she could have been the mother she played in a 1979 Milos Forman film. And let me say this LOUDLY--this Ms. is a full-on jazz singer, complete with scatting--I don't see her walking on the other side of the jazz street (I call that ExLax jazz).
