The legendary Toots Thielemans has passed away â may he rest in peace. He officially retired from performing at 92 and died yesterday aged 94. Known especially for his harmonica playing and whistling â hence the âTootsâ (presumably!).
Hereâs his Wiki â https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toots_Thielemans
There must be hundreds upon hundreds of credits to his name (including on Jelly Bowl's An Innocent Man) â https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHpIC4Kk0MU
From his album Chez Toots - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2T8wyBqBN9k
And he plays on the soundtrack to one of my favourite movies â
