There was a sort-of country forum before. I think it was called "blues-roots" or something similar. Is there enough demand for a country forum? Maybe a folk-country-bluegrass-singer/songwriter-americana forum.

Not quite a fan of country myself, but I think it'd be alright if one was added if more users ask for it.

In its previous lifetime MD did have a 'country' specific forum, but hardly any bugger used it so it was swallowed up by the (then) Blues & Roots forum. However, to do that this time 'round would be rather farcical as it has nothing to do with 'Funk, Jazz & Blues'.
Forget the 'Americana' though and just make a new forum for 'Folk & Country'. After all, both genres are more than just American.
