Recommend Some Instrumental Metal!

Hi all, I consider myself a bit of an instrumental metal buff, but I am always on the lookout for more great instrumental metal tracks. I don't know why, but I especially dig instrumentals by bands who don't usually do that sort of thing. That's not to say I don't dig bands that are all instrumental--I do!

Dream Theatre isn't entirely instrumental but they don't sing much like Agalloch. I like Steven Wison for instrumental metallic stuff ! Also instrumental are Sunn O))) !

I recently discovered a new band ATOMA - album SKYLIGHT form this year ! , very good instrumental metal !!!!!...Enjoy. What are some of your favs Nick ?

What are some of your favs Nick ?

I've never hear of Atoma, so I will check them out! Of those suggested by evilB, I'm mostly familiar. Like I said, for some reason I really get into instrumentals by bands who don't usually write them. It's not intentional, it just works out that way. There are obvious ones, like "Orion" by Metallica, or "Into the Lungs of Hell" by Megadeth, but here are a bunch of songs that I really like:
