I like you question because I like weird songs and I know a lot. But I remember my first listen of this song and I thought "what a weird style of music and beat. What is that exactly?". I never got an answer.

Edit: I want to add that it could be easily described as "experimental noisy music" and be nothing more. But there's actually a beat, a structure and a composition, but, so weird...that's what makes it great apart from just noisy music.

I LOVE Fish heads and sing it often - really truly...eat them up Yum. Another song I like to sing around the house is "Thanks for all the Fish", which is odd because I have ichthyophobia - really truly - a fear of fish...I would call it more a dread fear of fish.
This really has little to do with the original intention of this thread, and for that I appologize.

In fact, you were right mentioning it because you just informed me of the name of the phobia of my girlfriend: she have the very same phobia than you. Sometimes, we listen to a movies and as soon as there are dead fish, or her absolute worse, an out-of-water fish on the ground shaking, I just hear a scream and she blind herself. Even eating fish, any kind, will lead her to retching.

So you just reassured me, she is not alone!

Yeah, so had you heard this before? I like it and whole 'The Sporting Life' album simply because Diamanda Galas is a fantastic singer with an amazing vocal range.
