Sun City Girls are one of the weirdest groups I've ever come across. To describe the band is impossible, as there's so many different sides to their sound. On one album they may be doing surf rock, then the next on they're doing Tibetan folk, then the next pnee they;re trying American primitism, and so forth; all over the map. Their discography is incredibly extensive, but to me, Dante's Disneyland Inferno is their best
It's two discs long, and utterly baffling. Most of it is made up of lengthy, seemingly stream-of-conscious ramblings about.. something, really, I have no ******* clue what's going on. Amidst the musings of the insane Sir Richard Bishod (the mastermind behind Sun City Girls) are sea shanties, folk songs, and strangely catchy pop numbers. Sun City Girls aren't for everyone, but the more musically adventorous definitely houldn't miss this one

Now believe it or not, my surname is Disney - I have been to Sun City a number of times - I like obscure classics - but alas I am not a girl. Otherwise your description of their music fits my personality 100%. And you thought YOU were weird!
