I'd have to concur with an above poster, The Arcade Fire is fantastic. fun. is pretty popular, and for good reason, at least half of the songs on their last album could easily have been a top 5 single. also, theyre VERY obscure, but Hip Hatchet's most recent album was AMAZING. Also, if you're looking for some dylan-esque folk, try The Tallest Man On Earth

The sheriffs of nottingham is an amazing new band as well, their album "Have Mercy" was among my favorites last year.
Arcade Fire, Avett Brothers, Florence and the Machine and of course Gotye !!!!

I Agree, I don't think Lady Gaga will have the kind of longevity that Madonna has. I feel like Lady Gaga is still trying to find her self in a lot of ways. So much change has to happen for her I don't know if she will be able to maintain her self. I do think that Beiber will mature though. He will still be here in like 10, 15 years. He might fade out but he will be back.
