So, Neil Young has done a huge range of styles all a lot of the above count. He is the Father of Grunge no doubt, showing huge elements of typical Seattle Grunge acts like Nirvana. However, the majority of his solo tracks really lie under folk/country rock and his Crazy Horse stuff belongs to Hard Rock/Pre-Grunge (which isn't a genre in my books).
