I didn't like the Grammys this year. It wasn't as exciting as its been during the past years. I also feel for the televised awards there should have been more diversity, I pretty much only remember the country categories.
Justin Bieber can put on a good show, although the beginning part with Usher was weird. Like someone else said, if he is steered into the right direction he can easily become a mature artist. I thought Will and Jada were such proud parents.
I don't like Lady Gaga's new song Born this way too much. It sounds too much like Madonna's Express yourself, and her performance was giving me " Like a Prayer" video vibes. Was it just me?
Rhianna- She did more/better than what I expected. I did enjoy her performance and I felt bad for Drake. I did notice that no one stood up at the end of it through.
I don't feel like really typing anymore lol, but I was very surprised that Esperanza Spaulding won for best new artist. I was familiar with her music before, but I thought she was beyond being the underdog in that category.
