Yes it certainly does.
It doesn't necessarily keep me from buying their music. Countless artists that I have zero respect for as a person, but that doesn't mean they can't make good music. Same is true for any celebrity. There are skeletons in anyones closet. Unless it's a conviction for some serious crime, I'm willing to overlook it, when it comes to the music.
