cant really remember my first song as music was always playing in my parents house when i was young but The Beatles "please,mr.postman" and Elvis Presley "my baby left me" come straight to my mind when i think about those early days...!

The first song i remember hearing that doesn't qualify as a children's song is "Lucy in the sky with diamonds"
My mom had a cassete of Sgt. Peppers and i remember playing it constantly on my little plastic casseteplayer, i especially remmeber listening to "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" "With a Little Help From My Friends" and Good Morning Good Morning"

I was pretty young at the time yo-mama, but I believe it to be "Mellow Yellow" by Donovan.

" I love you, you love me...."
Other than Barney...
Wel the first song I can remember hearing and actually going " wow, this is music !" Was YES- Without Hope You Cannot Start The Day. I know I heard other music first because my father was always playing something, but I guess this was the first time I was old enough to realize that I was developing musical taste.
