I listened to Bowie's Next Day album again and it's very good! Also one that escaped me - Rod Stewart's Time rock album from this year was very good. all straight ahead rock..no crooning on this one! It won't appear on any year end charts though!

my mum bought the latest Rod Stewart album...i heard it fleetingly, sounded okay to me also, and i went off his music 25years ago!
