Yes, a lot of teams in the lower divisions should be in the premier league, but in many cases it comes down to money.

A club for instance like Birmingham City...a hugely populated city and they have no money! I am wondering what their attendance was like when they were in the Premier League? Such a shame as they could play Aston Villa in the derby!

The city itself does not provide the money, other than from season tickets. The money comes from private owners, many of whom, these days, are overseas. Manchester United, for example, has (unpopular) American owners who brought a lot of cash as well as huge debts.

England's women's football team play Germany at Wembley later today (Sunday 23rd Nov). The crowd of 55,000 is the biggest in the team's history.

Canada has a top 10 women's football team! Far superior to the mens team! We are hosting the womens World Cup next year...awesome! Canadian striker Christine Sinclair has 212 caps and 148 goals! The women are ranked 8th behind England at 7. The mens team are ranked 122 ahead of Liberia...lol...I love watching the girls play...seems to be more pace and more offence in the womens game! Unfortunately the WC games are not close by.so I probably won't attend the matches...should be an awesome tournament to say the least!

Germany's women beat England 0 - 3.

As always, the problem is down to money (and support). England's women players are part-time. The top player, Karen Carney, would be lucky to get £20k a year. Wayne Rooney gets an obscene £300,000 a month. Things do not bode well for Canada for us!

I've just watched Manchester City beat Bayern Munich 3 - 2 in the Uefa Champions League (Group E). It was amazing as City were two goals down for most of the match.

Chelsea thrashed Schalke 0 - 5 (Group G) and qualify for the knockout stages.

Saints drew 1 - 1 away to Aston Villa in the premiership. Their next match is at home against Manchester City on Sunday 30th November.
