Aussie Rules, rugby Union, Rugby League, soccer.... it's all stuff that just goes on in the background for me.Any interest I used to have has evaporated over the years with drug scandals, sportsmen behaving badly, and just the general commercial exploitation.

Whereas football/soccer is the most followed sport in the world...

I think the thing that makes most people think your football is a joke is that you call it "world series"...WTF!!!

It should be called "US series" or "nth American series" but definately not World Series.

I know they're running designed plays out there, but to me, it just looks like people running around kicking a ball just, wherever.

I have 2 gripes about soccer/football.

1. How the heck can a game end in a tie? No, no, no. There must be a winner and loser. That is the object of sports.

2. The time keeping. How the heck does the clock work? It's down to zero, yet they play on. Makes no sense at all.
