You are very well versed and knowledgeable in your football Big Ears! I liked the youth of the English team that went to the WC in Brazil! I thought they were trying to mirror the young and dominant German squad, but alas the experiment failed! The 1-2 loss to Italy did them in! A win or draw would have changed their progress drastically!
Are there any changes you would make on the England side today in preparation for the Euros? They seem to be doing very well! Too early I presume to think about a lineup for World Cup (Russia ???) in 2018!

I'm not really well-versed in football. Music is my thing, but I am interested in football.
As for changes, a strong England manager needs to get rid of Rooney and the other millionaires and look to some of the lower divisions for players. If a player gets £300,000 a month for playing for their club, they have no motivation or pride in playing for their country. Without starting again, any changes are cosmetic. You are right, the younger players showed promise, but they soon became spoiled by the system and immediately left their clubs for big money.
