Avett Brothers "true sadness"
online Spotify listen:
I became a fan of these guys courtesy of Major Tim
down on the pan-handle a few years ago....
own only two album both of which I love, I should own more IMO!
anyway,
hard to peg these guys sometimes, theres bits of country, folk, pop,
rock, Americana and its all mixed with superb harmonies, and I mean superb...
up there with the likes of Brothers Gibb, Beach Boys, S & G etc...
their albums never miss a beat IMO, superb stuff!
if you've never heard them or heard of them, you could do a whole lot
worse than check these guys out!

I have several of their releases and will be adding this one to my list. They've been around for a while, but don't seem to be well known - pity

I agree Burkey! So underrated!

I'm sure Cathy will love to chime in on this one
mile:
That is when she puts the guitar down. She is rehearsing the Doobie Bros. songs for her kids.
Talked to her today and she said she will be back. That girl has a busy life
Anyway, I discovered the Avett Bros. awhile back and I like them.
Not bad for Carolina boys
