No idea of the rationale here - well a little clue I guess! Lol! Maybe I should say - not sure what he's aiming to evoke in his audience - my almost immediate reaction was a feeling of devastating sadness, the hollow kind - the first time I listened. Less hollow on successive listens. Hmmmm .... brother Roger there too ...

Does not do a whole lot for me. Like the instrumentation between the verses but as for the rest of it - I'm lost.

I think he intellectualises everything, and there’s a place for that, but more often than not, I don’t want to have to understand the music I’m listening to. I want it to understand me. Lol!

i gave it a listen...
my expectations were low prior to reading Ruby and Jerome's comments but i listened anyway...
as expected, it was not my cup of tea.
