As many of the regular members of MD know I have a real soft spot for Magna Carta and believe that they have never really enjoyed the success that they deserve....................There are not many people who can say that they have spent nearly 42 years continually on the road ......................Chris Simpson is one of he true survivors of the seventies and is still promoting and playing his music here in 2010............This morning he lifted off from Manchester to begin a month long tour of South Africa.................It is rare that the Band pick up regular or widespead publicity but I came across the following web page which talks about there near hit in 1970 .........The Airport song::
