Football World Cup 2010 in South Africa

Now! Now! Everybody to their own poison!
Don't know much about footie but thought Spain would win, got drawn into it by my son-in-law.
Surely everyone has some sort of sport they like - even if it's only darts.

I like playing some sports, like darts :biggrin: but I honestly can't think of a sport I like to watch. It's rather like watching someone having a really good time..."I don't like to watch" :eek:

World cup over... found it really quite boring at times although I still watched every single game bar one which i missed accidentally. Was extremely disappointed when S.Africa went out despite eventually defeating France. When they were 2-0 up, they really were in with a shout. Not that many games to remember but thoroughly enjoyed winding up my step-dad (who is a woodwork football 'fan') when England were hammered by Germany . Lost interest towards end & was a bit miffed as I would have liked Holland to break away from their 'best team never to win the world cup' cliche. Ah well, back to music!
